Cocos Islands - A Story from Alby Zatkoff, Minnesota, USA.
From: Alby Zatkoff in Minnesota, USA - Visiting the Cocos and Keeling Islands

If anyone ever has the chance/opportunity to get to the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, one of Australia's Territories in the Indian Ocean, by all means go. It's a delightful place to spend time walking on beaches, reading books and getting away from it all. The only way to get there is to fly out of Perth on Ansett Australia. The snorkling is absolutely fabulous and I'm sure the diving and fishing are even better. This is a great place to go if you like to get off the beaten path and find a place that hasn't been discovered. The accommodations are nothing to write home about, but who cares. The sunsets will make you appreciate life again.
