    Travellers tales

WA - Crossing the Nullarbor - from Annette and Jaiden, Perth WA.
From: Annette and Jaiden Perth WA.
Born and bred in Perth, my sister moved to Sydney last year due to work and family commitments. Could I drive her car over she asked. Well I guess was my half hearted reply. See I am no travel buff and the thought of driving across the Nullabour with a six year old son in tow, well.......

It was the most amazing adventure. I did not realise what a vast country Australia is!!!! The wildlife ( Zoos are limited); The Great Australian Bite- SPECTACULAR; Eyre Highway- My son and I stood in the middle of Eyre Highway one night. "What can you hear?" I asked. "Nothing." he replied. "Exactly, this is a beautiful existance."; Friendly people and the forever changing landscape.

The most important aspect of our holiday was our destination and seeing my little sister's face light up when we pulled into her driveway. Such joy.

My son still talks of our holiday last year. What an opportunity it was for him to see Australia by car! Two recommendations, take a Game Boy and a Video Camera. Oh, don't allow your six year old take pictures, you'll end up with lots of photos of rocks or the blue sky!!!!!!

Perth to Sydney by car - Of course I'll go!!!!!

Safe and happy travelling!!!! Annette and Jaiden Perth WA.
